CAL-PM — full monitoring and control of the air system
The CAL-PM brings together, in a single unit, the monitoring and control of a compressed air system: continuous measurement, alarms, automatic reports, and control of the compressors and auxiliary equipment. Real-time data in the CALMS cloud, integration with any sensor, software or compressor on the market.
Field challenge
In a room with several compressors and no coordinated control, each machine reacts on its own to its pressure band: idle runs that add up, needless starts, an average pressure higher than necessary. This disorder typically costs several percentage points of energy — continuously.
Measurable benefits
The CAL-PM sequences the compressors to actual demand, tightens the pressure band and reduces idle running. The same unit provides the measurement, the email/SMS alarms, the monthly reports and the energy analysis (specific power, M/T, CuSUM). Combined with the CFC valves, it isolates production from demand for full regulation. ISO 50001 compliant.

Frequently asked questions
Does the CAL-PM replace a compressor sequencer?
It fills that role, with monitoring, reporting and energy analysis in the same unit on top. It's full system control, not just compressor rotation.
Isn't it risky to hand control to a connected unit?
Control runs with distinct access levels for the plant and the service provider, and local setpoints remain priority. The configuration is done with you, never imposed remotely.
When should I choose the CAL-PM over the CAL-EDGE-PM?
As soon as the system has several compressors: that's where sequencing pays off. For a single compressor, monitoring alone (CAL-EDGE-PM) is generally enough.
