The CAL-EDGE-8 is an audit logger that combines Modbus reading of compressors with 8 analog 4-20 mA inputs for pressure, flow and current sensors. Connected over LTE 4G, it sends measurements to the CALMS cloud in real time — the fastest way to run an online air audit with an independent expert.
Field challenge
A serious air audit demands independent measurements: the compressor controller doesn’t tell the whole story, and it doesn’t always tell the truth. Installing a permanent acquisition system for a few weeks of measurement makes no sense. The CAL-EDGE-8 deploys for the duration of the audit, captures everything, and is removed.
Measurable benefits
Eight analog channels sampled every second, accessible online during the measurement campaign. The auditor follows the data remotely, spots anomalies while the device is still in place, and the report rests on real measurements rather than nameplates. ISO 50001 compliant.

What's the difference from the CAL-EDGE-0?
The CAL-EDGE-8 adds 8 analog 4-20 mA inputs. It therefore reads physical sensors (pressure, flow, current) on top of the controller data — necessary for an audit with independent measurements. The CAL-EDGE-0 is limited to Modbus reading.
Are the sensors included?
No, the CAL-EDGE-8 on its own does not include sensors. For a complete set of logger + precision sensors + transport case, see the CAL-KIT.
Can it be left in place after the audit?
Yes. The same device serves continuous monitoring if you decide to keep measuring permanently after the audit.
