CAL-EDGE-PM

CAL-EDGE-PM — permanent monitoring with analog inputs

The CAL-EDGE-PM is a permanent monitoring unit for compressed air systems: per-second continuous measurement, email or SMS alarms, automatic monthly reports, and energy analysis compared against the efficiency references of the CALMS knowledge base. It’s the CAL-EDGE-0 enriched with analog and digital inputs, designed to stay in place.

Field challenge

A compressed air system drifts out of tune silently: a leak that grows, a compressor that slips into idle, a setpoint left wrong after maintenance. Without continuous monitoring, these drifts last for months and are paid in kilowatt-hours. The CAL-EDGE-PM catches them when they start.

Measurable benefits

The system is watched continuously — by you, and by the platform’s automatic analyses: specific power, M/T analysis, CuSUM. When efficiency drifts, the alarm fires and the gap is quantified in potential savings. The monthly reports arrive on their own. Accessible from anywhere, multi-level (plant, head office, service provider). ISO 50001 compliant.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference from the CAL-PM?

The CAL-EDGE-PM does monitoring: measurement, alarms, reports, analyses. The CAL-PM adds control: it can drive compressor sequencing and auxiliary equipment. If you only want to see, take the CAL-EDGE-PM; if you also want to act, the CAL-PM.

What exactly do you receive each month?

An automatic report by email: consumption, specific power, drifts detected against the efficiency references of the CALMS knowledge base, and potential savings quantified.

How do the alarms work?

By email or SMS, on configurable thresholds (pressure, temperature, consumption, equipment fault). The data around the alarm is kept for analysis.
