CAL-PM-BASIC-4 — monitoring and control enclosure (up to 4 compressors)
The CAL-PM-BASIC-4 is a monitoring and control enclosure for compressed air systems: it monitors, sequences and drives up to four compressors, with a 10-inch touchscreen and CALMS web access. It’s the most direct way to add control to a small or mid-sized compressor room, without having a custom controller designed.
Field challenge
A room of two to four compressors with no coordinated control runs in disorder: idle runs that add up, a pressure band that’s too wide, needless starts. Having a custom controller designed to fix it is long and costly at this scale.
Measurable benefits
The enclosure arrives ready to install: it sequences the compressors to actual demand, regulates variable-speed drives (4 × 4-20 mA outputs) and shows the system state on a 10-inch touchscreen. The same data feeds the alarms, the monthly reports and the energy analysis of the CALMS platform. For larger rooms or particular needs, the CAL-PM takes over. ISO 50001 compliant.

What's the difference from the CAL-PM?
The CAL-PM-BASIC-4 is the entry-level version of control: a ready-to-install enclosure, 10-inch touchscreen, that drives up to four compressors. The CAL-PM targets larger or custom installations, without the four-compressor limit.
Can it regulate variable-speed (VSD) compressors?
Yes. The enclosure offers 4 analog 4-20 mA outputs intended for VSD regulation, plus the digital I/O for sequencing and auxiliaries.
Can it be extended?
Yes, through optional modules: RS-485 (Modbus RTU) expansions, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, OPC UA gateway, fiber-optic converter, LAN router to the CALMS cloud. We configure the whole for your room as part of the quote.
